Electronics Recycling

Various parts of popular electronic devices may contain dangerous heavy metals, including lead, silver, barium, cadmium, chromium and mercury.  CVWMA's newest program helps citizens properly dispose of unwanted equipment instead of landfilling them where they could cause soil, water or air contamination.  Click here for more info.

Equipment collected in this program will be demanufactured for recycling.  Some components may be refurbished for continued use.

Electronics recycling events are on hiatus until the fall, when CVWMA and our member local governments plan to bring you more opportunities to recycle unwanted electronics. Until then, we remind you that citizens and businesses  may deliver items to the site of CVWMA's electronics recycling contractor, Sims Recycling Solutions, each weekday.
