When Curbside Recycling is Collected

Collection Times & Schedule
Collections may begin as early as 7:00 am and can continue to 7:00 pm.  Make sure your bin is available for collection by placing it out the night before or first thing in the morning.

Bi-Weekly (Red and Blue) Schedule
Chesterfield - Blue weeks
Goochland - Red weeks
Henrico - Red weeks
Richmond - Red or Blue weeks

To find out the collection day at your home, check the back of the collection schedule that was mailed to you by CVWMA (click here to find it) or search for your address through our online database.  You may also call the Recycling Hotline at 340-0900 to speak with our team of customer service representatives.

Collection Reminders by Email

Use our searchable online database to subscribe to reminder emails for curbside recycling collection.  The reminder email will be sent to you the day before your scheduled collection and often features important news about upcoming events or programs.  Simply enter your address, then click the "Subscribe" button.
