Curbside Recycling
The CVWMA's curbside recycling program, the largest of its kind in the state of Virginia, serves 236,000 households in six participating jurisdictions. Nearly 120 tons of recyclables are collected each day of curbside recycling service. Approximately 30,000 tons of material are diverted from Virginia landfills annually as a result of curbside recycling in central Virginia.
